If you don't know hao2roleplay, then get here. Roleplaying is about trying to act out like your character, and giving them "life". Most forms for roleplaying consists of

Personality:

While some roleplays have

Moveset
and so on.
Mythicals: RP is using Mythical Creatures and putting them inside a sphere in which they live in.
For rules, always put no overpowered or sort, and no omnipotence, omnikinesis, or omniscient, or anything that is like that. Roleplaying needs rules to keep everything in shape, otherwise you'll have a roleplay with immortal things or they can't be hit or something, just remember that rules are important.
Now to the roleplaying itself!
If you are planning to roleplay with something overpowered, just remember that you can't use that overpowered item too much, just like you saw me roleplay with an overpowered skill that will take a long time go recharge. Make sure that your roleplaying makes sense and not crazy. Roleplaying has to be short, sweet and to the point.
My example of RPing.
Skaia:
She would start to walk towards the broken sword, as she would pick it up. "Who would do this to such a weapon, and why is this here~?" She would start to pounce on it, due to the influence of the cat ears that she has, despite being an elf. "Purrr~ Where to put it? It seems like there's no place to put it. Maybe I should keep it until it's repaired, I don't use a sword, anyways, I use a bow, kicks, and love and toleration, and that's it! Oh wait!! I forgot, some nature <3~~~"
Skaia is mostly acting like a neko, but that's the cat ears' influence. She is still considered an elf, 75% of the time, so the cat ears' give her an influence to act like a cat. And her sweet personality? That's just Skaia.
Just remember that you shouldn't spend your time roleplaying, because if you spend all of your time with it, you'll forget to do everything!!! *flips tables*
