Hi! I think that, while the site needs some work, Caterpillar Cave beta (at least I think it's in beta, if I heard right) is off to a pretty good start. The only thing I would have to say is that, well, the name seems unfitting to me. Caterpillar makes sense, but I don't really see where the Cave part comes in. There's not even a cave accessible on the map. I think the name should change to be more fitting, as most of the site depicts items such as clouds and the like. Not a lot of cave stuff going on. Can I suggest something along the lines of Caterpillar's Fantasy or Caterpillar World? Cave just feels too rough a word for such a bubbly and non-cave related site. Of course, that's just my opinion, but I thought I'd point it out here.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'm probably going to stick with Caterpillar Cave- at least for now. :3 I do agree that with the current situation the site is in, but there's actually quite a bit for my to explain. The name "Caterpillar Cave"'s roots reach back to the site's earliest days. Back then, the name was simply chosen for word choice reasons (alliteration). However, the "cave" part of the name now actually has a historical importance to the island and the caterpillars in the plot - I just haven't gotten around to writting this in the library as there are some other "things" I'm focusing on. But I will think about it. :3 |
